Ember & Tide began as a caravan at the water's edge, and grew into something far more interesting. Part shack, part sanctuary — it's a place where the outdoor bath steams against cold Tasman air, the fire pit crackles long after dark, and the only agenda is whatever the tide decides.
Outdoor bath
Soak under an open sky with the water thirty metres in front of you. Best experienced at dusk, with something cold in your hand.
Sauna
A proper sauna with views west to kunanyi / Mt Wellington. Work up a sweat, then walk straight to the water.
Fire pit
An outdoor BBQ kitchen and fire pit for long evenings doing absolutely nothing productive.
The water
Direct path down to the bay — just thirty metres from your door. Clear, calm, and cold enough to feel alive.
Inside
A well-appointed kitchenette, comfortable couch and smart TV for the nights you don't feel like leaving. Cosy and considered throughout.

White Beach sits in one of the most biodiverse corners of Tasmania. On any given morning, you're likely to share the bay with a seal sunning itself on the rocks, or watch dolphins work the shallows just offshore. Patience — and luck — might bring something much larger.
White Beach sits at the quiet end of the Tasman Peninsula — far enough to feel like a proper escape, close enough that you haven't left civilisation entirely. The drive down is half the experience.
